Football Star Aaron Ramsey Ups Reward for Lost Dog in Mexico to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Wales athlete Ramsey has increased the incentive for information regarding his missing dog named Halo to £15,000.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently plays for the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, stated that the beagle was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.
Halo, who disappeared on October 9th, was equipped with a dog tracker collar, and the footballer posted a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of updates concerning our pet Halo please contact us. Substantial bounty for finding her. We are all hoping she is unharmed and will return to our side soon," the athlete posted on social media.
Earlier Reward and Heartfelt Pleas
The footballer initially revealed that his dog had disappeared two weeks ago and has since uploaded numerous pictures of the cherished pet on his social media account.
A £7.5k incentive was initially announced, but with no news on Halo's status after a week, the player and his family increased the amount.
"We just want Halo home," he said in an additional request on social media after the decade-old pet went missing.
The latest photograph share is a monochrome image of Halo napping, her head resting in the crook of Ramsey's elbow, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to embrace you one last time sweet Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Background
Ramsey has also circulated a message from his wife Colleen on online channels saying they have several "important questions" surrounding the event and fear the family "could possibly not obtain explanations".
"We still are still searching for our dog. I don't think we ever will," the spouse's post stated.
The Wales skipper joined Mexico's top-flight team Club Universidad Nacional recently and had his inaugural match in Liga MX in August.
Born in Caerphilly player is the pioneering prominent British Isles player to play in the Mexico's top division.
